As a Production Technician, you'll play a vital role on our Production Team, working in our production lab to test and certify refurbished equipment. This unique position offers hands-on experience with an extensive range of network equipment that few IT professionals ever get to work with, plus exposure to diverse enterprise network environments.

Job Purpose

Network Production Technicians ensure the quality and reliability of our equipment through comprehensive testing and refurbishment. You'll inspect items for physical condition, update firmware, troubleshoot technical issues, and verify all standard accessories are included. Your attention to detail will help maintain our high standards for customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be:

• Knowledgeable about networking concepts and equipment
• Able to independently test and troubleshoot enterprise switches, access points, servers, and related hardware.
• Know how to use CLI and device management interfaces to verify components and ports, update firmware, reset configurations, document results, and identify units that require repair or should fail inspection.
• Methodical and thorough in following technical procedures
• Detail-oriented with strong quality control skills
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies
• Motivated to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• An effective team player with excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience testing, configuring, troubleshooting, or repairing IT or networking hardware
• Cisco CCNA Certification (recommended)
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Windows, Office 365)
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, terminal, and GIT
• Experience in technical troubleshooting and repair

Physical Requirements

Position requires the ability to both sit and stand, lift up to 40lbs, and perform repetitive tasks with precision.

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour based on relevant hands-on experience and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST
